Windows 4 Opportunity

Give the gift of connection

What is W4O?

Windows 4 Opportunity is an umbrella campaign initiated by Recruit Refugees Ireland. We brought together Charities, Grass Roots Organisations, Corporations and NGOs to achieve a shared goal. We are currently raising funds to provide laptops for residents in Direct Provision so they can access the opportunity of education and employment. This exciting initiative is growing and if you would like to partner with us or donate to our mission please contact us using the tabs below.

Give the Gift of Connection

Windows 4 Opportunity is asking you to give the gift of Connection so residents of Direct Provision can be provided with laptops to access education and employment opportunities. Can you give what you can and create a window of opportunity for someone?

Because together is better

Recruit Refugees Ireland created Ireland's largest laptop drive for residents of Direct Provision by working with our partner organisations and centralising the nationwide demand for laptops. We believe that together is truly better for the future of equality and opportunity for all and we want to thank all our partners for joining us. If you're interested in partnering with us, get in touch and email hello@recruitrefugees.ie or visit our partners page.

Donate a Laptop

Have a spare laptop lying around that hasn't been used in ages? Why not donate it for a good cause? Fill in the form below and a member of staff will be in touch with you shortly to organise collection.

Cork College Student in Direct Provision

I have completed QQI L-5 English and IT Cork college of commerce 2019-20 season. Before the pandemic started I was allowed to use the college computer room. This year, because of the pandemic, I wasn't able to access a computer for my studies. One day someone told me about a laptop project called Windows 4 Opportunity. Receiving a laptop meant everything to me as I live in Direct Provision. It has helped me to carry on my dream and focus on the future.
